No, you didn't misread that! The Apple Juice Kid remixed Louis Armstrong. I know, on paper it's blasphemy, but then I listened to the album--it's fantastic! The Apple Juice Kid manages to stay faithful to Armstrong's original recordings and puts a modern and refreshing twist on the songs. It's one of the only hip hop albums that I can listen to with my parents around and not feel embarrassed. You can download/stream the album here. Let me know what you think!
