Diggin' Through the Crates : Nastradoomus Volume 1&2

When it comes to Nas's album "Nastradamus", fans are split into two camps. Those that think it is the MC's weakest album or those that zealously defend the album.

Many criticized the album for possessing several lack luster instrumentals.Enter MF Doom! MF Doom (now simply known as Doom) took one of Nas's most questionable albums and gave it new life as the two disc "Nastradoomus".

Volume one contains remixes of "Nastradamus", while volume two is comprised of songs throughout Nas's career. My only gripe with the album is that the we've heard all of these instrumentals before on Doom's previous albums. With MF Doom basically recycling beats, the album is really a mash up and not a remix. Despite that, "Nastradoomus" is a great album that any fan of Nas or Doom should have in their collection.

"Life We Chose" can be found on volume 1

"It Ain't Hard to Tell" can be found on volume 2
